The Ginna Nuclear Power Plant of Rochester natural gas Gas and Electric's, is close to Rochester, New York, USA. It consists of a single unit of pressurized water energy costs reactors from Westinghouse two cycles, similar to those in Point energy Beach, Kewaunee, and Prairie Island. Rochester Gas and is responsible for the operation of this plant which is owned by the RGS Energy Group.The Ginna plant was subjected to a mild nuclear accident when, on January 26, 1982, a small amount gas of radioactive steam escaped into cooking gas the air by a broken pipe. The flight that lasted 93 minutes caused the declaration of gas emergency for the site.
